OUR NEW LIFE IN CHRIST

Monday Nights at 7:00pm Led by Pastor Robert Hein in the Fireside Room Beginning January 6th

This course covers the key truths of Christianity, a refresher course for our members and an introduction to the Bible for those looking for a church home.  This 13 session course serves as our Adult membership class.  There is no cost or obligation to join.  To register, contact the church office at 262-334-7881.  Led by Pastor Robert Hein in the Fireside Room.

Living by the Wisdom of Christ

Wednesday Mornings at 9:00am Led by Pastor Richard E. Lauersdor, Class Resumes January 8th

Wednesday Morning Bible Class is a study of the book of Proverbs with the theme "Living by the Wisdom of Christ."  What is a proverb?  Who wrote this book?  Why can we call this book of the Old Testament Sermon on the Mount?  Why can we describe Christ as "the ultimate wisdom of God"?  Join 140 who meet each Wednesday at 9:00am.

Jesus Cares Bible Study

Sunday Mornings at 9:15am  

All children through 7th grade are invited to come have fun with us learning about Jesus and His love through Bible stories, crafts, games, songs, and fun activities.  Bringing your children to worship and Sunday School is a great way to set them on the right path, so they stay closely connected to Jesus all the days of their lives.  REGISTER

Public School Catechism Class (7th and 8th Graders)

Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Led by John Paustian 

Pastor Paustian will lead the class the first half of the year; Pastor Hein, the second.  Since spiritual growth is our goal, regular attendance at worship and Sunday School is expected.  Call Pastor Hein at 262-334-7881 to set up an appointment to meet personally about the goals of catechism instruction and to register your child.

Pioneers (1st to 8th Graders)

2nd and 4th Monday Nights of the Month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Beginning September 9th

Welcoming all 1st to 8th grade!  You do not need to be a member of Good Shepherd or go to Good Shepherd School to join Pioneers.  It is open to all children.  The cost for the year is $25/child.  We have a two-night fall camping event for both boys and girls.  Regular meetings include cooking, crafts, games, and Christian fellowship with other children.

Little Lambs Childcare Center

Child Care for Ages Newborn to 12 years Old

A ministry of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, offering childcare for newborns and up in a safe and loving Christian environment.  Before and after school care and a summer program are also available.  Call 262-338-1764 for a tour or to learn more.  Little Lambs is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year of sharing Christ's love with his precious lambs.

Christmas for Kids (Potty Trained through 4th Grade)

Date is to be determined for 2020 

Join us for Christmas for Kids in 2020 (2019 took place Dec. 7th)!  The children will learn the joyous meaning of Christmas at different stations for singing, crafts, video, Bible story, cookie decorating, and fun.  All adult volunteers are asked to attend the yearly training class.  If you wish to support this outreach program financially, please use a yellow "Kid's Program" envelope in the church narthex.  Gifts are needed to cover costs for crafts, advertising, and gifts for the children.

Saturday Morning Bible Study

Saturday, January 11th from 8:00-9:30am

Men, you are invited to our next Men’s Bible Breakfast.    Enjoy a hearty meaty breakfast, served by our Board of Evangelism, and a short Bible study Saturday, January 11th from 8:00-9:30am in our Fellowship Hall led by Pastor Hein.  Topic – God empowers ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. This is a great way to grow in your faith and get to know your brothers in Christ at Good Shepherd better.  For planning purposes, please sign up in the narthex.
